Investing in your mental health can be life-changing.

Constantly feeling on edge or having a low mood can be taxing and detrimental to your everyday and overall well-being. These symptoms, amongst others, can penetrate various domains of your life, and you may find yourself struggling in your social and family relationships, work, school, or even in your downtime.

At Integrative Mind, we provide a variety of services to achieve whole-person healing through holistic psychiatry. We specialize in transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), medication management, and psychotherapy. Below is a breakdown of the costs involved.

We offer flexible payment plans and financial assistance options. Our Financial Assistance Policy is designed to help eligible patients access Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment, even when insurance coverage is not available. We are committed to ensuring our process is fair, transparent, and compliant with all applicable laws and ethical standards.

How Much Does Medication Management Cost?

Medication can be an effective approach to gaining control of your symptoms for some. This involves multiple sessions, including:

Initial Consultation: Together, we review your medical history and symptom profile. We identify your therapy goals and how medication can meet your needs. This is covered by many insurance plans. The cost without insurance is $300.

Developing a medication management plan
: We prescribe a suitable medication that can manage your symptoms with minimal side effects. With this comes a medication management plan, outlining your dosage, a guide on managing side effects, and other lifestyle modifications that may be required for your medication.

Follow-up appointments
: As your treatment goes on, it is crucial to meet with us to ensure your symptoms are being effectively managed. We can modify your prescription, evaluate the need for undergoing combined therapy or supplementing with other holistic practices to ensure your needs are being met. These are covered by many insurance plans. The cost without insurance is $225 for a 45-min session, $150 for a 30-min session, and $100 for a 20-min session.

How Much Does Psychotherapy Cost?

Psychotherapy is one of the most personalized treatment options available. However, pricing for psychotherapy can vary widely as treatment is charged per session.

Initial Consultation: In your initial appointment, we will discuss your medical history, therapy goals, and other personal factors that can help us make an informed decision about the suitable psychotherapy approach for you. This is covered by many insurance plans. The cost without insurance is $150.

Treatment sessions: Appointments can be scheduled weekly or fortnightly and continue from months to years. Each therapy plan is based on your individual needs and preferences, with your therapist’s recommendations. These are covered by many insurance plans. The cost without insurance is $115 for a 45-min session and $75 for a 30-min session.

Insurance Coverage

You may be wondering whether your health insurance can cover these costs. This depends on multiple factors, including:

Your individual provider

Your selected treatment

  • Standard TMS is generally included in insurance policies

  • Accelerated TMS is a more recent, advanced protocol, and as such, it is not commonly included in insurance coverage

  • Psychotherapy is mostly covered by insurance

  • Medication Management is often covered, but this can vary based on the prescribed medication

Your diagnosis

  • Some treatments have only been approved for specific conditions, so insurance coverage often reflects this. For instance, TMS is usually covered for clients with treatment-resistant depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, but not anxiety.

Your medical history

  • Insurance policies may specify that your medical history must meet certain criteria to be eligible for coverage

Navigating insurance requirements can be a complicated task, but luckily, we are here to help you make the most of your insurance plan.

Dr. Lewis is both super smart and on the cutting edge of research in the field, and a thoughtful compassionate listener. She is great at getting to the nut of any issue and makes thoughtful recommendations for how to move forward. I've sent her multiple patients who give her great reviews and the kids she's worked with think she is super-cool.
